Mercury Direct
The retrograde is coming to a close… 5 things to expect!
You may have noticed things getting a little nutty over the past five days. Computers crashing, emails not being delivered, car accidents, unnecessary arguments, crossed wires and delays... these are just a few of the effects of a commonly feared planetary occurrence called Mercury Retrograde.
Last week (on March 2nd), the planet that controls written, spoken and non-verbal communication (which means just about any interaction you can think of) began rotating backward, sending things into a bit of a tizzy. This will continue until March 25th when direct motion resumes. Chaos is in the air... and look for it to get particularly interesting on March 14th when we experience a Super Full Moon.
So, what does this mean for you? Well, the general rule of thumb during Mercury Retrograde is that whatever you do when it comes to commerce, commuting and communication will not go as smoothly as you thought it would. Expect lots of the unexpected, especially when it comes to delays, negotiations, and bureaucratic red tape.
The bad news is you may not be able to prevent Mercury's havoc. But on the upside, you can deal with it. How? Try to stay flexible. Have a back up plan. Avoid contract signing or closing deals. Don't expect things to be simple. Anticipate obstacles. Focus on yourself and your inner peace rather than external occurences. Sure, things are bound to go wrong, but preparation is a great way to keep the overall balance in check. And remember, things will resume normal in just a few weeks! In the meantime, look at the upside: Mercury Retrograde is nothing if not exciting!
