It's so nice to be trusting. When you've reached a certain level of comfort in yourself and who you are, you can let go of external influences and attachment to outcomes. You understand just how relaxing it is. But there's a fine line between being trusting and being naive. When the occasionally vain Venus Squares sometimes deluded Neptune, you may find yourself confused - and easily fooled - when it comes to matters of the heart. So be sure to beware.

Think you're un-foolable?
Even the most confident person can find themselves in an inopportune situation. While you're less likely to attract intentionally dishonest elements after you've done the work and relinquished control over the outcome, it's not only liars and crooks who can con us. Sometimes, even the well-intentioned make promises they can't keep. The cute co-worker you've been crushing on may want you to come for drinks on their last day- especially since they are fighting with their on again off again partner and they think they're breaking up. After all, it's not like your attraction has been one sided. That said, when the fog clears after Venus and Neptune resume amicable terms, your co-worker may wind up regretting the invitation (and whatever transpired afterward), not to mention deciding to stay at their job. Either way, you'll certainly regret that you didn't take heed of the astrological elements at work!

Avoidance 101
Wondering how to tell if you're being too cautious - or not careful enough? Take these tips and you will easily survive the elements. In a worst case scenario, the day will be a wash - nothing lost and nothing gained. And in a best case, you'll have averted a deceptive disaster!

1. Don't tackle major relationship problems
You know the saying, never put off til tomorrow what you can do today? Wrong! Procrastination is rarely a good thing, but if you've been having issues in your relationship, don't have "the talk" today. You may not get (or give) a straight answer, which won't do you any good. It will only serve to ruin the trust that on any other day may not be violated. If you're bursting at the seams with a conversation that's been waiting for days, stay away from your sweetheart. Make a date to deal tomorrow and spend this time making a list of what you've got to discuss. Know this though: whatever you write down may be obsolete tomorrow!

2. Don't test (or press) your luck
Considering an ultimatum? Not that ultimatums are ever a good idea, but when Venus squares Neptune in particular, you may just find yourself called - because you'd be the one being deluded! If you find that you wake up with some half-baked idea that is typically out of character (or the urge to argue), chock it up to the stars and steer clear of conflict. You'll just end up in a mess - most likely one that would have been perfectly avoidable if you'd taken this advice. Take a bath, read a book, go for a run. Just clear your head and keep your mouth shut for the moment... In all likelihood the issue will pass.

3. Don't grant any unusual requests or make any promises
If your ex suddenly shows up on your doorstep (or on the other end of your wireless connection), wanting to work things out, realize that they may be completely confused - and possibly deluded to boot. If you've been pining for this person and their return is something you want, offer to discuss it later. But even if your only date is with a pint of Ben & Jerry's, say you're busy at the moment and other than that, say as little as possible.

There will be another day to deal with your relationship situations should it be in any way serious. In the meantime, save yourself the confusion until Venus is done squaring Neptune.
