2006 was a banner news year with the continuing war in Iraq, the John Mark Carr/Jon-Benet Ramsey sensation and so much more. So what do our psychics predict will be in the headlines during 2007?
Here's what they say we'll see:
Psychic
Maryanne (Ext. 9146) predicts one of the top candidates for President will bow out of the race at the last minute due to scandal.
Also in the political news arena, Psychic
Jesse (Ext. 9027) says that three major international political figures will die this year. She says all three men "will be connected to anti-U.S. regimes," and adds that "two will be very old and one will be in his early 60s."
On this same note,
Shay (Ext. 9441) says Fidel Castro will die and "democracy will be on the agenda." She expects they'll be successful, too, adding "Cuba will be free before 2007 is done."
Moving over to the Vatican, Jesse notes that the current Pope "will face international rebuke in the early summer as he continues to condone extremely conservative behavior." She adds that the Pope's health will also be an issue predicting that "he will face a severe health challenge in late 2007 causing great upheavals in the Catholic church."
Also on the Papal front, Shay sees an assassination attempt on the Roman Catholic Leader by an Iranian terrorist in 2007.
While on the subject of terrorism, Psychic
Joseph (Ext. 9153) expects that Baghdad will suffer a major insurgent attack which will spare no one since it will hit in the Green Zone.
Natural disasters will also be aplenty according to the psychics overall.
Marceea (Ext. 9118) predicts "a major earthquake around central California coast - around Morro Bay, Monterey Bay, etc."
Serafina (Ext. 9407) agrees, going even further to predict a West Coast earthquake in September. But she adds that "the new building codes will save many lives."
In the world of sports, Joseph predicts the San Diego Chargers will beat the Chicago Bears to win the Superbowl. The New York Yankees will beat the St. Louis Cardinals to win the World Series, and the Dallas Mavericks will beat the Clelveland Cavaliers to win the NBA crown.
And for those of us who aren't professional athletes (or superstars at the gym!), both Serafina and
Persephone (Ext. 9274) predict the rise of a new diet pill. Serafina says the pill "will give gastric bypass a run for its money." But according to Persephone the drug will be pulled off the shelves "after several people have medical problems as a result of taking this pill."
