How do I know if he's lying?

 

We've all been blindsided to learn that someone we care about lied to us - be it a lover, friend, co-worker or family member. It only has to happen once for us to wonder in the future if someone is telling the truth (or not!), especially in a new love relationship. We may not always need a psychic to tell us when someone is lying but, it doesn't hurt to get advice.

"Look for body language catastrophes. Emotions give people away when they lie. They will make more speech errors and offer shorter speech responses. They will also blink and fidget more. A non-lying partner does not require lies, so set and maintain your own boundaries to create a truthful playing field. From your side, tell the truth but don't be hurtful or spiteful. If your partner does not produce a raging behavior then he is most likely truthful and honest."
