People are obsessed with the why, when and how of things. Take for example the story of Nancy (not her real name), a 45-year-old owner of a pool business in Los Angeles, California. She called Clarity to get, well, some clarity about a disturbing occurrence. "I want to know what happened to my mother," she stated outright.

Nancy began to sob uncontrollably. "Please, can you tell me who did it? I want to know who the killer is," Nancy asked in between tears. The visions unraveled like a film: Clarity could also see a man hiding behind a dumpster. The murder had happened quickly. He was 5'7" with scraggy blonde hair. He wore combat boots, which were untied. And he was no stranger to her mother. "That's right," Nancy responded. "They arrested a man who was hiding not too far away but in the end, lack of evidence set him free. I knew it was him."
Clarity sensed that her mother had known this man. She could see her mother trying to get some money together but in the end she had failed in paying back what she owed. "I felt that she was addicted to drugs and that this man was her dealer. I could tell that Nancy was reluctant to admit this but it turned out that I was right."
"It's strange. I had given up on the idea that I was going to figure out what had happened to my mom.
