Ron asked her where she was calling from and her birth date, so he could tune into her magnetic presence, look at the ephemeris (an astrological almanac) and do a general tarot reading. "You're trying to corner him at work… are you nagging him?" Ron asked empirically. "I also see a boat."
Molly admitted that she had been tracking Brandon down at work, attempting to get him to go to lunch or dinner, or at least return her calls so she could get answers from him and resolve whatever had happened. The boat, Ron saw, had to do with a portion of the get-away Molly had planned for herself and Brandon. She ended up sailing off the Massachusetts coast with her son instead of the man she loved, she told the psychic.
"I had pulled the Wheel of Fortune and somehow the wheel looked like the wheel on a boat to me, so I tuned into it. That's what the card signified to me, though each card can mean so many things. Then she broke down into tears. "He actually pretends not to know me when I run into him at the courthouse," she said sobbing. Several weeks later, Molly called Ron again, saying that Brandon had called her for a date during the weeks she had backed away. Since then they had made dinners for each other and they were moving back into a comfort zone. Brandon still didn't seem ready to really talk about their relationship. Molly complained to Ron and she was trying to keep from nagging him into giving her answers.
Ron found himself calming Molly down with his reading. He had pulled the Five of Cups and saw that she was crying over spilled milk. "Relationships are like a rollercoaster with highs and lows." If we can't travel on a wavelength of understanding, then we have to be honest with ourselves and let go of the other person, Ron counseled Molly.
Six months and several calls to Ron later, the couple now sees each other regularly. Brandon's divorce isn't finalized, Molly's still insecure about a commitment from him, but they are enjoying each other's company. Ron continually sees that the couple have the potential to make it for the long run. In a sense, Ron says he's coaching Molly through this waiting period.

"I pulled the Four of Wands (the Marriage Card) and the Ace of Cups," he remembers. "These are good cards and give the impression that they have a workable situation. At least three months, is my prediction, but it will be awhile before they marry."
Through her readings with Ron, Molly has found fewer reasons to complain as she has gained confidence in her place in Brandon's life and understands that communicating with Brandon privately, and not at work, takes a great deal of pressure off of the busy attorney.
